Networking events at London Calling
London Calling’s line-up of music industry association AGMs, business speed-dating events, international receptions, show party and awards ceremonies creates a veritable roll-call of almost endless opportunities for informal (and more formal) networking.
The full line-up of networking and social events at London Calling includes:
International Speed Dating – Thursday 28th & Friday 29th June
The AIM UK Pavilion on the show floor at London Calling’s will feature special ‘speed-dating’ events on both days of show creating the opportunity for London Calling’s VIP Delegates from international labels, publishers and managers to meet with labels, publishers and managers from UK companies. Participating countries include Germany, France, Spain, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, USA, Canada, Brazil, Malaysia, Australia and India as well as representatives from the UK.
The ERA Pavilion at London Calling – Thursday 28th & Friday 29th June
London Calling 2007 welcomes a new partner association: the Entertainment Retailers Association (ERA). And the ERA Pavilion on the show floor at London Calling is the place where you can meet and do business with the all top retailers and distributors, including 7digital, GB eye, Pickwick Group, Pinnacle Vision, Proper, Ranger, Stuffin Cards and TNT.
AIM AGM – 3.30-6.00 on Thursday 28th June
The AIM community of its members, ‘friends’ and special guests gather at London Calling for their annual general meeting and then get down to the serious business at their famous Beer & Chips bash immediately afterwards.
The London Calling Party at The Cobden Club – on Thursday 28th June
On the first evening of London Calling we can all decamp to The Cobden Club in W10 for the London Calling Party, an evening of networking and live music. There will be music live showcases – courtesy of AIM and London Calling with free entry to all London Calling delegates and exhibitors - and a line-up featuring Kay Elizabeth, Stina Frost, JumpShip, Sarah Harrison, an acoustic set from Honey Rider, Nizlopi and Nate James.
